K-1 in Dnepropetrovsk

On November, 24th in Dnepropetrovsk, in hospitable Night Club "Time out", will take place the selection tournament by version К-1 the MAX. This tournament has the official status. The conduct of this tournament is approved in World federation K-1 which is based in Japan.

8 fighters in the weight category up to 70 kg will struggle for permits on tournament in Vilnius which will take place on December, 14th.
In turn, the tournament К-1 MAX in Vilnius is the stage for hit on The Gran Pri of Europe К-1 MAX which takes place on February, 17th, 2007 in capital of Estonia - Tallinn.

So, we represent fighters..

Vadim Usov (Odessa) – Aleksandr Medvediev (Sevastopol)
Pavel Kharchenko (Odessa) – Aleksandr Sharafan (Pavlograd, the Dnepropetrovsk region)
Artem Shcheglov (Yenakievo) – Konstantin Tsutsu (Moldova)

The winner of 1-st pair meets in a semi-final the winner of 2-nd pair, the winner of 3-rd pair meets in a semi-final the winner of 4-th pair. And certainly in the end the final.

News from tournament « The Star ring »

On November, 17th in Kharkov took place the tournament « The Star ring », professional fights by Thai boxing Muay Thai.

Tournament has opened the Academic symphonic orchestra of the Kharkov regional philharmonic society in cast of 45 musicians under direction of Jury Vladimirovich Janko.

In the first fight, won a victory fighter from Kharkov Nikita Djukarev above the sportsman from Odessa Dmitry Prut.

In the second fight Dmitryy Konstantinov from Kharkov has yielded to the sportsman from Sevastopol Aleksandr Medvediev .

The third fight between Maksim Slipchrnko (Kharkov) and Michail Babenko hasn't allowed judges to reveal the winner, and result became a drawn game.

In the fourth fight among heavyweight fighters has won a victory Andrey Yembalaev ( Semferopol) above the sportsman from Pavlograd Аleksandr Zubenko.

Before last fight to spectators has executed some songs the Russian singer Sergey Krylov.

The fifth fight, without doubts, has passed under the dictation Bogdan Lukin and the result - a victory over the sportsman from Simferopol Vyacheslav Shirokim

News from Latvia, Gran Pri К-1.

The latest news from Riga by phone was informed by Pavel Sergeevich Evtushenko.

So, in 1-st fight Maxim Neledva has met not with Sergey Matkin as it has been declared, but with the owner of the Cup of Russia 2004 on Thai boxing Dmitry Fevralev by a nickname "Gulliver". Maxim has finished this fight ahead of time. In the second round he has beaten off Fevralev’s leg.

2-nd fight - the semifinal. Neledva - Gluhov. Konstantin Gluhov, from Riga, so public's support was guaranteed to him. Fight last all 3 rounds. In opinion P.S.Evtushenko, Maxim has won all rounds, but judges have defined a drawn game and gave an extra round. Maxim Neledva has tried, has shown beautiful boxing has won and has gone in the final.

I'll remind that all fights took place in one evening, and time for recovery was limited … From other "four" in the final has went familiar to us Byelorussian fighter - Zabit Samedov by a nickname «Maugly». It was an uneasy fight and after 3 rounds judges gave victory to Zabit.

Neledva hasn’t won this Gran Pri, but has shown good box, has liked public and organizers, so everything at Maxim still ahead!

Irina Komar goes to India

Our country-woman, Irina Komar, will go to capital of India - Delhi.

There from 17th till 24th November will take place the World championship on box among women.

In spite of that the Irina's basic specialization - Thai boxing, she has achieved significant successes in classical boxing too. And here is the result - in June she supported a combined team of Ukraine on Thai boxing (where, by the way, she has won a gold medal and the title of the World champion in the weight category), and in November she will go in the staff of combined team of Ukraine on boxing.
